Hi, I am course manager for the Digital Movie Making course at
the IT university in Goteborg, Sweden, and I would like to invite you
to apply for the course this spring. The course is 5 points, free
university course, which you can attend online. It starts March 19th
and ends April 20th. It will learn you how to write, shot and edit
movies with digital tools, and also how to do more advanced movie
making with digital visual effects and computer graphics. We will have
much focus on the story-telling and on the professional movie
industry. The tools we will learn you to use is Avid Express,
Premiere, After Effects and Maya (you will need to have those tools
yourself). The course starts with one video streamed week lectures,
and then you work on your short film production.
There are five mandatory occasions, otherwise the course work can be
done when it is convenient for you. The course will be held in English.
The IT university is a faculty of Chalmers University of Technology
and Goteborg University, both in Sweden.
