Jeff - Thanks. I read your reply to a similar question last year (to "Bethan," "Can you help a budding newbie?") and didn't understand it at first, but now I've figured it out - the program I used to convert to mpeg converted at 310x240, not 720x480. I re-did it and it worked fine. Mitch
