Well, they *might* have tweaked some of the memory optimization of the
program... But I *wouldn't* be aware of a significant difference over
Premiere Pro 2 as far as editing MPEG2/Divx/etc. files. But... Then again...
You mentioned 6.5, and Pro 2 is a wooooooorld of difference away from 6.5.
And Pro 2 *could* edit MPEG2 files natively.

It's been *said* there won't be native support for MXF/P2 files... Which at
surface seems like a bad move. But they have many 3rd party vendors who are
lined up to release drivers and capabilities to work with these types of
workflows / files.
