I recently purchased a Sony Camcorder (DCR-HC96). When I try to capture video
within Premiere Pro, nothing gets captured. It sees the device, tells me it is
"online", but when I select capture tape, it tells me it is capturing, but when
I stop it, I am told that no frames have been captured. I am new to this, so
have no idea where to start investigating.
I am trying to capture by firewire (iLink), and am able to capture in other
programs, so I know the tape and the connection are not the problem.
I have attempted to capture in both PP 1.5 and the new CS3 Beta.
Any suggestions?
