I recently switched from AP on a PC to a Mac running Final Cut Studio. I
wanted to convert an old 8 minute project to a QT web file using Apples
Compressor (on my Mac), so... I opened up the old project on the PC, exported
as a QT file, burnt it to a DVD & loaded it onto the Mac. Worked great, and it
was about an 8 minute video. The file is 3.46 gig, so it fit on the DVD with
no problem. Didn't you say your clip was 4 minutes? How large is the file
turning out to be?

I'm finding it too large for a DVD, as well. >:o
It's frustrating, as the Windows DV file looks great, but I'm trying all
the codecs in Premiere 2
for Quicktime, and they're either too large or too compressed.
