You need an AC3 codec for your computer, or you may need to 'demux' the VOBs into separate streams to import into AP. There are many programs that can demux (de-multiplex) VOB and other video file types. DVD video can have one or more of three types of audio stream. Uncompressed PCM which is the same as a 48Khz 16-bit WAV file. Compressed Dolby Digital AC3. MPEG1-Layer 2 compressed. PAL DVDs may have any or all of the three. NTSC DVDs must have at least one AC3 or PCM audio streams. An NTSC DVD with only a MPEG audio stream is not standard compliant.
