Jeff: I downloaded the patch you say, and when I begin the installation, shows a window saying:
"This installer updates the Adobe Media Encoder to include the latest versions of the MainConcept MPEG encoding files. This update is recommended for any user experiencing the following issues: "Adobe Premiere Pro failed to return a video frame. Canceling the operation." Or an "Out of memory" error when using the Premiere Pro Export to DVD feature. This version includes an enhancement which fixes this MPEG encoding failure and error" So, the above says that the patch is the correct one. But, when the installation goes on, appears other window saying: "The program cannot update the installed version of Adobe Media Encoder because of the following reason: The destination directory does not contain any files to update. Please make sure you select the directory where Premiere Pro is installed" But, in the installation, I choose the correct folder where PPro is installed ! So, the update cannot continue, and I have the problem not solved. Any suggestion ?? Thanks a lot! You need to go to the Adobe site and get the update to the encoder. The file name I have is: Adobe_Media_Encoder_PPro1.5_Update_v1.1.exe Good luck, Jeff White claudiofranzetti wrote: > > > Hello group > I recently formated my pc and reinstalled Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 > > But now, when I try to export my edited job to a mpeg2 file, the > process stops and a window appears saying: > "Adobe Premiere failed to return a video frame.
