that's good to hear from someone actually has done it. So when you encoder for
BluRay, do you do MPEG-2 or H.264?

Thanks

wow, this has started quite a little thread! Rieni, I think what you
might have is a 'lemon' and perhaps you should sent it back for a
check-up. I have found though that using my Sony DHR15 as a feeder
does sometimes cause the odd dropout, which is fixed by re-digitizing
again through playing back from the camera and this always fixes it.
Saying that, there may be one dropout digitizing in 5 tapes. I also
always use the Sony HDV tapes.

Hi Robin, to Make Blu-Ray discs I use the Adobe encoder Blu-Ray
preset in Premiere CS3, with a 2 pass, min 20, average 25 & max 30,
then import it to encore, create the menus & chapters & write an iso
image then burn copies in Nero to my Sony Blu-Ray internal writer.
It's quite slow but the results are great!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas
Phil B
