that's good to hear from someone actually has done it. So when you encoder for BluRay, do you do MPEG-2 or H.264?

Rieni, I think what you might have is a 'lemon' and perhaps you should sent it back for a check-up. I have found though that using my Sony DHR15 as a feeder does sometimes cause the odd dropout, which is fixed by re-digitizing again through playing back from the camera and this always fixes it. Saying that, there may be one dropout digitizing in 5 tapes. I also always use the Sony HDV tapes. Hi Robin, to Make Blu-Ray discs I use the Adobe encoder Blu-Ray preset in Premiere CS3, with a 2 pass, min 20, average 25 & max 30, then import it to encore, create the menus & chapters & write an iso image then burn copies in Nero to my Sony Blu-Ray internal writer. It's quite slow but the results are great!
