Hi Joe,

Photodex Producer is primarily for creating slideshows, but you can add audio,
video, and still clips. In fact, I did a short show where the entire thing was
video. It has layers (up to 100) and masking capabilities. You can use
Digital Juice products with it, and it's really much easier to use than
Premiere Pro. However, it doesn't have as many features as Premiere. I've
been using it exclusively for my slideshow productions, and only use Premiere
for certain segments. You can check out their website at:
www.photodex.com
You can download a trial version, if you like. One of the best things about it
is you can upload your shows to their website, and there is no limit to the
size or number you can upload. There is a monthly contest, too, with cash
prizes. I've won a second and a third place--still trying for first. The user
group, though, is probably the best bunch of people I have ever met. We all
have gotten so close, even though it's a huge, worldwide group. Just super
people, who are willing to share everything they know. Also, their tech
support is free, available, and real people talk to you and walk you through
fixing any problems. It won't take the place of Premiere, especially for video
productions, but it's a fabulous piece of software.

Let me know if you try it!

Jean
