For authoring or just for burning the prepared VOB
files etc to a DVD?
Nero's DVD authoring "features" are quite basic, but
it works fine for burning files from any DVD authoring
software.
If you want burning app that's nowhere near the
bloatware Nero has become, and is free, look up
Infraburner.
Authoring? Have a look at DVD Lab Pro.
