what you are experiencing is 100/120 Hz flicker that is associated with old
style iron fluorescent ballasts. Fluorescent fixtures that are designed for
video lighting use high frequency electronic ballasts as do some residential
and industrial fixtures. It is caused by a mismatch of shutter speed and
sync with the flicker in the light.

Subject: [AP] Strobing

Hi

So I'm working away on my music video that compresses the amount of time
it takes to build a custom
guitar into around 3 minutes. Everything is cool until I see that some
shots under a flourescent light
shows strobing when I set the timeline speed higher than normal. The
source material is fine and I saw no
off speed indication in the V1u monitor.

Anyone dealt with this?

Thanks,

Kent
