I understand what has caused it, and I've worked a lot in shooting film
where we avoid off shutter
problems by shooting correct frame rate/shutter combos to avoid the off
speed strobing.
When shooting with professional video cameras and monitors, I'm able to
see any problems
with lighting frequencies. The Sony V1U gave me no indication of a
problem, and it didn't
become apparent until I changed my timeline speed.
