hello again & thanks to everyone for helping me-i didn't expect so many
detailed reponses. this group is great! so- i pulled out the old video card,
actually found the original system specs from Alienware, and this is what we
have:
Nvidea GeForce Ti4200 with AGP 8X (64 mb)-
so i just need to get a new card with those (or better) specs. would it help
(or at least do no harm) to get a 128 mb card?
also- if i cannot fing this exact model- what would I look for generically-
just an agp card with the certain mb?
hopefully this is the last question i'll have on this matter!

thx,
        adriane
