1. I don’t know – the audio should be embedded in the mpg file and CS3 would certainly not strip it out upon import. Someone else will have to answer this. (Of course as you know m2v does not contain the audio).
2. Is this actually a “problem”, that is, doesn’t it work again when indexing is done? Indexing is performed in the background, everything else (not related to the newly imported files) is fully functional in the interim. Note that when files are first imported they are all listed in the Project panel italicized, and no thumbnail of it shows because the thumbnail doesn’t exist yet. After each file has been indexed (which means “completed its import”), its name changes from italics to regular and now its thumbnail can be shown. I’m guessing that likely the Project Manager also needs information from the indexer and therefore it has to wait until the indexing is done. 3. Hoping this helps… Lee From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Vitor Lima Sent: Friday, September 12, 2008 6:18 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [AP] import mpg files Hi, people. I've had some problems with APP 2.0 and CS3. 1. When I use APP CS3, and I import .mpg files, taken from my Sony handycam, the program doesn't import audio, only video. 2. On 2.0, when I import .m2v files, the program shows the action "Indexing" for a long time, and because this, the archive appears as off line.. Does anybody knows any solution for these problems? Thanks and sorry for my not so good English.
