I'm involved in quite a few of these online forums (mostly powered paragliding) and this may be the single most useful piece of advice I've EVER gotten. Thanks. Not only does it do EXACTLY what I want, but it doesn't bog down my poor old computer. If I could change something it would be to have it save the newly trimmed files over the old ones but that's still a short piece of Shift-DEL. And hard drive is no problem. Just bought 2 TERAbytes for $269 (Best Buy). Basically, I'm back in business without having to buy a new machine yet. I have been using Womble MPEG Editor. It's not free but quite cheap. It allows you to trim mpeg (and m2t) files and export without loosing quality. > > > > > From: Jeff Goin > Sent: Sunday, October 19, 2008 9:45 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: [AP] Re: Editing Question (& Saving Trimmed Clips) > > > A similar question. > > It seems easy but I haven't found a tool yet, including Premiere.
