Hi All,
I want to get a new monitor and have a question.
I live in South Africa where HD and 16:9 wide sreens are only now slowly
beginning to come in.
(We are always a bit behind the rest).
I will still be using my Sony PD170 for some time shooting in DVCAM 4:3
but will get a wide monitor to
be ready for changes.
My main interest is the video making side rather than the technicalities
of computers.
Question:
If I stretch the timeline from one side to the other on the monitor,
will I see MORE on a wide screen or will I see the same as on a "normal"
monitor, only stretched out?
