I'm not aware of an Encore DVD list, so I'm posting here and hoping this
isn't too far off topic.
I've been working on a DVD of a concert pianist. At times when the hands
move fast there is a fair amount of strobing effect, like when viewing
progressive material. I was hoping to have more of a natural motion blur.
What am I doing wrong? Field order? I believe I'm doing lower first. VBR
2 pass 1.5-9, target 7000 kbps. This is in Adobe Encore DVD 2.0, one of
the presets I believe, HQ video NR set to 30 IIRC. The default setting.
TRT is about 1 hour 40 minits. Not huge but not so small either I suppose.
DVDs seem to be something of a mystery to me yet, beyond operating one.
Any suggestions appreciated.
