Sorry, I overlooked that you have SD cards - so the camera USB connection is
OBE, and you are using a SD reader on a USB port, which will, of course,
suffice.

I am able to view the video file with Nero.
The file name is 00000.MTS
properties describes it as an mpeg file
I changed the file name to mpg but will not import.
I updated Preimere Pro.
I know the card works, we shot with 3 cameras a few weeks ago.
My card was taken and used with Vegas, good results.
