I believe you can 'un-register' a serial number as easy as registering one.
There is the 'activate over phone' option too.

Be interesting to see how others have achieved this on stand alone machines.

Subject: [AP] newbie

Hi everybody,
newbie to the group here. I just bought Adobe Premiere Elements 8 and
installed it on a vista 32 bit machine dual core 3 gigs of ram, mostly
because web access was required to validate the software.

Unfortunately, it runs about as fast as grass grows on this machine.

I would like to move it to a 64 bit win 7 machine w/6 gigs of ram that is
not connected to the web. I get the feeling that Adobe does not want it to
be convenient to move this app to another computer. Am I already dead in the
water, or can anyone offer hope that I can move it successfully to the other
computer? and if so, can anybody offer any suggestions as to how to go about
getting un-validated on the previous installation and re-validated on the
second installation?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
