As Greg says, it won't help with CS5, but I, unlike Greg, I also find it to
be useless with organization. I can "organize" (or perform backups) just as
easily using folders; and sometimes separate drive letters can get in the
way.
Partitions are a carryover from more primitive days and I don't believe
there is any longer a convincing reason to use partitions at all.

Hello all: Recently added 1.5TB external sata drive. this will be
exclusively for video stuff..Still Pictures, Vid clips and exported final
files..
Is there any advantage in partitioning the drive to make computer/CS5
editing access easier? Maybe a dumb question but I have never seen any need
