Why should I take the chance of loosing a frame or two having the Sony
program?
The interface of the Sony program (Content Management Utility) is very
nice. I copy all
my NX5 footage onto a dedicated drive. I have a main folder on it called
NX5. When
the clips are copied sub folders with the date of the recording are
automatically
created.
Like in Explorer or Bridge the Folder structure is shown on the left. In
the big space in the
middle a thumbnail is created for each clip . On the right one finds all
the meta data.
The clips can be easily identified and played full screen out of the
program.
I usually change the sub folder names to something more meaningful.
No additional indexing is required.
I hope my description is clear.
