Thanks - I wasn't aware of it until your post. However, regarding being sour
on updates, keep in mind that programs like the CS5 suite are incredibly
complex and sophisticated pieces of software, which therefore requires
knowledgeable programmers. If there wasn't a staff of trained and
knowledgeable programmers making a career out of the Creative Suites, the
system would soon rot to nothingness. And of course, a career staff needs
financial support.
 
Also, likely hidden in among the "new features" will be fixes for existing
features (many companies don't like to admit there ever was a problem of any
kind that needed fixing!)
 
And as Rieni points out, not everyone will want to upgrade every time, but
many CS users will want to at least periodically upgrade.
 
Just my thoughts.
