Proof that he didn't pirate his software is if he calls Adobe for help, rather 
than "researching" on the internet.  Adobe help is a 
lot faster, and relatively painless.

Take it easy.

Although the instructions are dubious, he may well have not pirated the 
software or be aware that it may not be kosher. Many people 
get caught the same way, just because they don't know 'the way of things'.
