Kirk, If I am thinking correctly, you did 'save' the preferences after you changed them? Rename the preset to 'Matrox_01' or something and then it should be there next time. I've not played with 5.5 much yet, I could be totally missing the point or be totally wrong, all I do remember is there were plenty more options and things to pay attention with over 5.0 :-)
