I don't think there are "stupid questions" sometimes there are "stupid problems". I have been using Premiere for 11 years and ocassionally I get stumped. In the old days we used to delete the Premiere preferences file to fix strange bugs. Sometimes I just wipe the drive clean and reinstall everything. I'm glad you fixed you problem without too much hassle. Because I use an SSD that is only 120 GB I cannot abide anything filling up my system drive with crap. Usually PP is good for that you can at least tell it where to put everything and it seems to. FCP 7 and FC Studio 3 is another situation altogether. Gerry
