Multiple cameras, yes, we had those. I am happy there were some others
to provide me with clips to complete the picture. What no-one (including
me) had counted on, is the sound of the wind. Prior to this I had only
taken video indoors or in a sheltered outdoors location.
The scene for this wedding was a small, tent-like "chapel" at the end of
a pier about 100-130 feet from the beach.
So there were voices, the sound of the waves crashing into the rocks,
and the sometimes overwhelming sound of the wind. It must depend on the
angle of the wind on the microphone how much noise gets recorded, as
some clips were very much worse than other.

Now, this is a tip I would have never thought about!
What I did sure caused me a lot of extra headaches and time: Put all the
clips I wanted to use in the correct chronological order, all on one
track, and then moved the in- and out-points to make the clips go
smoothly from one to the next.

I am going shopping shortly, and will pick up a notebook - I am going to
jot down all these fantastic tips!
If I don't I'll forget.... goes with my grey hair I guess.

Thank you all so much for your help!
Esther
