Hi,
I have a question about something you said (I know this is a Premiere forum but
I think Rieni said it's ok to ask Encore questions too):
>One thing I learned for creating menus is to start with one of the >templates
>then edit it in Photoshop. There I put in my own backgrounds >and modify
>buttons just remember to not change the layer nomenclature >so the layers
>still work as buttons.
I'm still on CS5.5 but I have found that many times, something looks great in
Photoshop but looks terrible when imported back into Encore. For example, I've
sometimes wanted to modify the button images, changing them to a different
image. All looks great in Photoshop (and I understand the button layer
nomenclature), but back in Encore, the image has changed to be only a gray
outline or even a pixelated blob. The same thing has happened when I've tried
to design my own backgrounds - gradients change color, green becomes
brownish-green, red becomes orange, drop shadows look awful, etc. I've learned
to only use the simplest graphics and backgrounds when designing my own. Is
there some trick or feature I've missed when bringing Photoshop images into
Encore?
Thanks!
Alexandra
