Sorry, there were so many links, I missed your SSD spec. SATA III - 6GB is the transfer spec, not the capacity.
128GB minimum, probably 256GB optimum for cost, 500GB not really necessary. The less writing you do to a SSD the better, so use a HDD for storage. At least if a SSD goes tits up, you can soon install another one. If it's for scratch you probably won't have lost much. If it's the C drive with the OS etc, easy to restore from a Ghost image.
