Something you could check out is Adobe Connect. It's for doing live 
presentations on the web, and it can record for playback, with points set for 
quick navigation. See the last three here for some recorded presentations.

If you want to make regular videos from a Connect presentation, it records 
separate audio and video in Flash format.

     for Camtasia if it's worth it.
