We looked at coding some routines to automate this function, but we didn't
really have the expertise to develop a system that served our needs. We
backup about 40 servers to TSM on AIX. We found a product called AutoVault
from Code Relief. It automatically prints daily reports that our operators
use to vault tape. It also emails a copy of the reports to me in case I want
to check them. It sounds like it may be an option for you.
