Hi,
I'm trying to backup mountpoints on a Ubuntu 16.04, mounted as Cifs share.
Use of option DOMAIN or VirtualmountPoint in DSM.SYS or DSM.OPT is ignored.
The error, when domain is used:
ANS1071E Invalid domain name entered: '/mnt/xradia/Xradia'
ANS1071E Invalid domain name entered: '/mnt/xradia/Avizo'
ANS1071E Invalid domain name entered: '/mnt/xradia/DCT'
ANS1149E No domain is available for incremental backup. The domain may be empty
or all file systems in the domain are excluded.
When Virtualmountpoint is used:
ANS1278W Virtual mount point '/mnt/xradia/Xradia' is a file system. It will be
backed up as a file system.
ANS1278W Virtual mount point '/mnt/xradia/Avizo' is a file system. It will be
backed up as a file system.
ANS1278W Virtual mount point '/mnt/xradia/DCT' is a file system. It will be
backed up as a file system.
Mount cmd:
//xxx.xxx.xx.xx/XRADIA/xradia/Xradia Backup on /mnt/xradia/Xradia type cifs
(rw,relatime,vers=1.0,sec=ntlm,cache=strict,username=backuplinux,uid=0,noforceuid,gid=0,noforcegid,addr=xxx.xxx.xx.xx,file_mode=0755,dir_mode=0755,nounix,serverino,mapposix,rsize=61440,wsize=65536,actimeo=1)
//xxx.xxx.xx.xx/XRADIA/xradia/DCT Backup on /mnt/xradia/DCT type cifs
(rw,relatime,vers=1.0,sec=ntlm,cache=strict,username=backuplinux,uid=0,noforceuid,gid=0,noforcegid,addr=xxx.xxx.xx.xx,file_mode=0755,dir_mode=0755,nounix,serverino,mapposix,rsize=61440,wsize=65536,actimeo=1)
//xxx.xxx.xx.xx/XRADIA/xradia/Avizo Backup on /mnt/xradia/Avizo type cifs
(rw,relatime,vers=1.0,sec=ntlm,cache=strict,username=backuplinux,uid=0,noforceuid,gid=0,noforcegid,addr=xxx.xxx.xx.xx,file_mode=0755,dir_mode=0755,nounix,serverino,mapposix,rsize=61440,wsize=65536,actimeo=1)
Df -a :
// xxx.xxx.xx.xx /XRADIA/xradia/Xradia Backup 29049150848 19271704412
9777446436 67% /mnt/xradia/Xradia
// xxx.xxx.xx.xx /XRADIA/xradia/DCT Backup 29049150848 19271704412
9777446436 67% /mnt/xradia/DCT
// xxx.xxx.xx.xx /XRADIA/xradia/Avizo Backup 29049150848 19271704412
9777446436 67% /mnt/xradia/Avizo
It's possible to do a manual backup of the mounted share.
But it's saved in TSM as /:
Node Name: xxx.xxx.xx.xx
Filespace Name: /
FSID: 1
Platform: Linux x86-64
Filespace Type: EXT4
lespace Unicode?: No
Capacity: 47,768 MB
Pct Util: 14.0
