The impression I got from the question was that he wanted to delete a
certain archive (not all of the archives for a filespace).  If he performs
the command "del filespace <NODE_NAME> <FILESPACE_NAME> type=archive" he
will delete all of the archives for that filespace.  If that is what he
wants then that your command will work faster but if he wants only a certain
date deleted then he will need to perform it from the client.

del filespace <NODE_NAME> <FILESPACE_NAME> type=archive
