Hi Mark,

use one dsm.sys with several stanzas in it, one for each base node in the cluster and
one for each application node.
I use a shareable dsm.opt with each application node too, and application start and
stop scripts.
One gotcha is that the encrypted password has to be set up on each machine, and the
password set to not expire for a long time otherwise the PASSWORD GENERATE function
will change it on one machine and it won't match in the other machine after the
failover.

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what would be the way to run 2 schedulers on 1
machine? I'm trying to implement TSM client on a AIX HACMP configuration
with mutual takeover. I seem to get stuck because of the fact that only 1
dsm.sys can exist.

Thanks in advance!
