We are running an application (ImageEdit) that uses ADSM as its backend. We have been
using a 3995 optical library to store our images on and have now filled the jukebox.
We bought another (5.2GB vs 2.1GB) jukebox to add on so that we could logically expand
the storage pool and continue on. A post on ADSM.ORG has indicated that this is not an
available option. (clip of post follows)

No.

I inquired about this a few months ago, and
you can can't do what you want. And, according to IBM, treating multiple
physical libraries as one logical library would require an extensive
architectural change to ADSM.

My question has to do with TSM (no flames please, I know the list says ADSM. I am
awaiting a reply to join the TSM-L list as we speak, but the situation has become
urgent!!)

Is it possible to do this — have two jukeboxes as one storage pool — in TSM.

Thanks for any light you can shed on this issue for me.
