I had tryied it now on my test W2K TSM 4.2.0.0 server with filedevice class
DB snapshot ... without success.

delete volhistory type=dbsnapshot tod=06/24/2002 force=yes
0 sequential volume history entries were succesfully deleted

Was FORCE=YES parameter applied only in 4.1.5 version?
(My original TSM server, where I need delete the volume is 4.1.4 on W2K)

If you use TSM-Server 4.1.3 there is a known error with the DEL VOLHIST
command.
It is fixed in 4.1.5 and allows a FORCE=YES Parameter.
