The TSM linux client is unix-like. PRESCHEDULECMD goes in the dsm.sys, not the dsm.opt.
As a general rule, things that only root should be able to set, go in dsm.sys. Things that any user should be able to set for their own backup/restore session, go in dsm.opt. -----Original Message----- From: Simeon Johnston [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, July 16, 2002 10:44 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Antwort: executing commands before backup Ooops... here's the correct error - ANS1036S Invalid option 'PRESCHEDULECMD' found in options file '/opt/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/dsm.opt' at line number : 15 Invalid entry : ' preschedulecmd "/etc/tivoli/tsm/vpnstart.sh"' ANS1038S Invalid option specified I did incorrectly spell schedule(shcedule) last time.
