Are you using the TSM SCSI Device Driver?
If yes, what's the target and LUN that you are using to define the library
device?
Can you type the following commands and show us the output?
# lsdev -Cc tape
# lsdev -Cc adsmtape

I'm getting this error in my Server log on AIX 5.1 with TSM 5.1.6.5 after
defining a 7336-205 4mm Tape library. Any ideas? IBM says this library is
supported in the BASE codeset.
