You're going to have a very hard time restoring a file like

sys:/data/blah/blah.txt

to a box whose filesystem expects an identifier like

c:\data

As we've discussed in this forum many times, there is no way to restore a file written
on one filesystem and restore it to a completely different filesystem. The file
structures are completely different and utterly foreign to each other. The reason you
can use a Windows workstation to move files from a NetWare server to a Windows box is
because the NetWare client resident on the workstation translates the files from one
format to another.

You're going to have to use that workstation to copy files from point A to point B,
after all.
