I totally agree with Salak. I keep hoping new server releases will incorporate a
usable editor for client option sets. It is so bad that I have cobbled together a
mainframe script that allows me to keep all of my cloptset statements in files that I
can edit there, then run a batch job that goes through about 8 steps to put them in
place on my TSM server (AIX - and don't even bother talking to me about vi!). I don't
get what is so hard about writing a java editor for these things

well,
I am not satisfied with the clopstes editor at all.
Try using "" (having blanks in path forces you to do so)
try to edit path in an existing inclexcl statement,
try to gain an overwiev of particulary complicated clopstes and/or inclexcl statements
in combination with local opt files and YES/NO parameters.

It works flawelessly but it is back-breaking work,
like editing text files with EDLIN.

I think it's quite simple. I only ever really do exclude statements, and I never have
to use " " for those, so I assume it's the same for include statements.

Just don't want to find out in two years time that we have files missing.

I see, the cloptset editing interfacece is rather horrific,
it is quite tricky to use "" in cloptsets, isnt it?
