There were problems with the NSS / SYS: volume that required escalation to Novell, but those problems were on a different volume, USER:

Usually, if the client's going to give problems, it does it from the get-go. Were any service packs installed, have you tryed installing any to fix the problem? I get some strange errors in the DSMSCHED.LOG file and then a message about the scheduler being stopped ! Why is it stopping ? I updated to the latest, 5.2.3.0 but it still occurs. Started back in V5.2.x. Also, I get these errors about files failing. The one consistant indicator seems to be the file names ending in a " - " ?
