What patch level are you at on that server? Judging by the TSA errors in dsmerror.log, I would try applying sp2 if it doesn't already have it. You could try rerunning the "dsmc q tsa" command, to re-register the client with the TSA's. You could also try completely removing the client, and reinstalling it. There's also a version 5.2.3.9 client available on IBM's ftp server if you wanted to try that.
