The GUI and CLI are not 100% functionally equivalent. There are some things you can do only from one that you cannot do in the other.
In this case, though, you can select the Edit/Find menu item in the GUI to locate files by backup date. When the little "Find Files (Restore)" dialog pops up, click on the "Select Date" button to the right of the "Backed up" label. In the "Modified" (yes, I know that label name doesn't make sense) box, select "After date 1". In the "First Date" boxes, enter your "From data" criteria. Click "OK", then "Search". This will give you a list of files backed up after the date you specified. Note that unless you are restoring only a small handful of files, I recommend using the CLI.
