Just added one 6 months ago, to a base L32 frame. Depends on the base frame, minor differences in physical mounting.
I think it took about 2 hours, I had 2 drives in my D52 though. Even without the drives, with slot config change, after they are done you need to halt and restart TSM server to pick up config changes. No big deal. David B.
