Does TSM store new metadata each time it backs up a file or does it only keep one copy of the metadata per file.
I have a customer who is saying they backed up files on a linux box, changed ownership of the files, backed them up again. Then he restored the original versions of the file but got the changed ownership assoicated with the later backup. TSM server 5.3.2.0 to 5.3.3.0 running on AIX 5.2 ML6 64 bit mode.
