The errors we were getting tended to be all over the map, at times making us think we didn't have the scratch/private stuff setup correctly. Turned out to be, though, the device driver for the 3592. The most recent driver available at the ftp site fixed the problem and we are able to move data to the tape drives. Thanks again. Kelly Kelly J. Kelly - The Admin Guide manual shows how to share a 3494 both dynamically and statically. Have you set up according to those instructions and verified that configuration?
