Avy - You can use MOVe Data to get as much of the good data as possible off the old tapes. After that, do RESTORE Volume to get the remaining files from the copy storage pool. Note that difficulty reading tapes can be caused by drive/microcode problems as well as problematic cartridges.
Use Query LIBVolume to get a list of your cartridges, as needed, for barcoding the new cartridges. Richard Sims
