We are going thru the same nightmare with the IBMtape driver ( Atape for Solaris ). IBM/TIVOLI is not helping their customers with that driver .
IBMtape is downloaded from IBM website , they should accept to work on the issue . Now the fact they Support this by their internal HW or SW is not my business . This should be transparent for their customers !! Next step is to ask to call "xyz" because he wrote the code ... And by the way he left IBM ... ??
