We exported from a SUN E4800 to an IBM p570, both having 8 LTO3 drives attached, while both were still fully functioning as fileservers and backup servers. We moved around 2TB/24 hours, took several(5-6 maybe) months to move 250+TB. We did not tune everything for absolute speed.
