Hi, Between 4-8 GB should be enough for a dedicated Lib Man (LM) server in production. I personally would have used 8 GB memory just in case. Even if you are upgrading the existing LM server to v6 the memory should be enough since the LM database is kind of small in most cases. There's an example of two TSM 6 upgrades at the TSM Wiki.
