Xavier, is the correct way to build this to check out the gradle_0.8 branch 
on tools/base and the aosp/tools_r22.6? (we have to build our own because 
we have to pass some custom aapt arguments in)

Thanks for the provided configuration. We were getting around this by a 
very messy process (having a java project with the provided dependency that 
the android projects depend on), this will be much cleaner.
